Sobre la Política / Regarding Politics

El estado es el detentor de la fuerza legítima. La política es la actividad de conducir el estado. Por ende, la política es el arte  - con la fuerza como última ratio - de imponer un error tras otro  a los hombres, y asegurar que obedezcan.

The state is the locus of legitimate force. Politics is the activity of running the state.  Politics therefore, is the art  - with the flash of the blade as the last restort - of imposing error upon error on men and ensuring their obedience.


Observaciones/Observations:
1)
La fuerza debe economizarse. La lección que se ha aprendido no es prohibir, sino permitir lo más posible: el sistema permite para así incorporar, normalizar y regular. Mientras más se permite, mayor es la efectividad del poder, porque menos debe recurrir a la fuerza. El costo de dominar se mide en la necesidad de recurrir a la fuerza. Mientras más fuerza se necesite, mayor el costo del poder.

Force must be used as little as possible. The lesson that has been learnt is not to prohibit, but to allow the most possible: the system allows and may so incorporate, normalize and regulate. The more is permitted, the greater the effectiveness of power, as it is needs less the recourse to force. The cost of domination is measured in the need to turn to force. The more the force, the costlier the exercise of power.

El mercado es el mayor error que se ha impuesto mediante el estado, y el menos costoso de todos.

The market is the greatest mistake ever imposed through the state, and least costly to fo all,
